Description of Instruction:

We will begin this course with a review and coaching of the some of the more advanced strokes (bow rudder, side slip stern rudder, braces).  Once we are comfortable with those maneuvers we will begin our Level 3 trek.  We hope to experience conditions beyond flat water, but not completely open water conditions.  We will use those strokes in bigger conditions and perhaps a rescue or two.  Some basic navigation and group management principles will be discussed and implemented.

Kayak Skill Levels:
Level 1 = Beginner
Level 2 = Rising Intermediate
Level 3 = Intermediate
Level 4 = Advanced
